Welcome from the Headteacher
Dear Parents, Carers, Family & Friends,
I would like to wish you a very warm welcome to our school, in the heart of Melksham. We are a very happy team at Aloeric, with great relationships between staff and pupils and between the school and the local community. We believe in putting the children at the heart of what we do and want to develop all aspects of every child as they travel through the school – really giving the children a say in the development of the school and giving them opportunities to become confident and independent learners for the future.
We provide a very exciting curriculum, based on the needs and interests of the pupils, with many extra curricular opportunities, visits, clubs, visitors, etc to enrich the experiences we provide. The school is very well-equipped, set in spacious grounds, able to provide outside adventure play, nature areas, sports fields, etc.
There is a great atmosphere at Aloeric, with a real team spirit of mutual respect and enjoyment. We work very productively with parents to do the best for the children and reach out to the local community to broaden the experiences we can offer.
We are a very welcoming school and value the excellent support our adult volunteers and other members of the community give us. Please do feel free to come into school to discuss the work of the school and the children’s development and to work alongside us. We are always keen to celebrate success and regularly invite parents in for assemblies and special events.
